Air Canada announced the opening of its new Maple Leaf Lounge at St. John’s International Airport.

The lounge is in the airport’s recently expanded departures area and offers visitors a panoramic view of Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean.

The St. John’s Airport Maple Leaf Lounge showcases Canadian design and artistry with maple wood screen walls, Canadian-designed and manufactured furniture, and art that reflects the Newfoundland and Labrador region.

Open from 4 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the lounge accommodates up to 84 travelers and includes a self-service bar with a wide variety of beverages including Canadian wine, light snacks, and Lavazza coffee.  A business center and cyber counter will feature workstations and color printing, and the entire lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi.
