Aeromexico to Link Detroit with San Luis Potosí, Home to Multiple Suppliers to Auto Industry

IMG_8598Aeromexico announced plans to offer service linking Detroit with San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The route will be offered in cooperation with its joint venture partner Delta Air Lines.

The route connects the capital of the U.S. automotive industry with a key city that is home to major suppliers to the industry including the Samvardhana Motherson Group, a company that produces rearview mirrors for multiple companies including Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, and Volkswagen. Another company in the region produces fuel pump components.

The Mexican flag carrier will operate the flight to San Luis Potosí on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Return flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Delta and Aeromexico currently offer non-stop flights form Detroit to Bajío (León), Mexico City, Monterrey, and Querétaro.
