United, which took delivery of its first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner earlier in the month, announced the six initial international routes the type will operate on.

The Chicago-based airline will offer Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner service from Newark Liberty International Airport in the New York metropolitan area to Frankfurt and Tel Aviv starting March 30. In April it will add service to Paris and Barcelona, and in May, it will add Brussels and Dublin.

United will operate the 787-10 on premium transcon routes linking the New York area with San Francisco and Los Angeles starting in January.

The Boeing 787-10 is the biggest in the Dreamliner fleet. It is 1’ 6” (457 mm) wider and 37’ 11” (11.6 meters) longer than the original Dreamliner and can carry 32 business-class passengers and 298 in coach in a typical two-class configuration.

United is the first and currently the only airline in the world to operate the entire Dreamliner fleet, which also includes the 787-8 and the 787-9.
