Lyft to Introduce ‘Lyft Rewards’ Customer Loyalty Program

Ridesharing service Lyft announced it will soon offer customers a revenue-based loyalty program called Lyft Rewards.

Customers will earn points for each dollar spent, although the company did not say how many. Riders will be able to redeem points for upgrades to Lyft Lux or a discount on future rides, the company said.

The program will be available in select cities in December. Those eligible will receive an e-mail from Lyft.

Based in San Francisco, Lyft operates in 300 cities in the United States as well as five in Canada including Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.
