WestJet Announces 3 New Routes, Toronto-Barcelona, Calgary-Atlanta, and St. John’s-Fort Lauderdale

DSC_0514WestJet announced seasonal service linking Toronto with Barcelona and St. John’s with Fort Lauderdale as well as year-round service between Calgary and Atlanta.

The airline will offer thrice-weekly non-stop service between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Barcelona starting on May 24, 2019, running through October 21, 2019.

The inaugural St. John’s-Fort Lauderdale flight will take place on March 11, 2019 and the service will operate through May 13.

St. John’s is the capital of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador and is situated on the eastern tip of the Avalon Peninsula. Winter temperatures hover around 32° F (0° C) during daytime hours.

In addition, WestJet will inaugurate year-round service between Calgary and Atlanta starting on March 3, 2019. The service will be timed to allow for connections to numerous Delta Air Lines flights to other U.S. destinations. Delta is a codeshare partner of WestJet.
