Virgin Atlantic Airways announced a partnership with chef Donal Skehan on Friday. Promising to bring “restaurant standard food” to the air, the alliance will result in new meal selections in all cabins in the course of the coming year.

The dishes will be inspired by global destinations, the airline said, and ingredients will focus on those that are sustainable and fresh.

“Donal is the perfect partner to help us bring game changing food to the skies,” said Daniel Kerzner, the airline’s vice president of customer experience.

Skehan’s meals will first appear in the airline’s Upper Class cabins as well as in its Clubhouse lounges in October. Next year, the airline will roll out new dishes by Skehan in its premium-economy and coach cabins.
