DSC_0820KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Qantas Airways announced a new codeshare agreement.

Under the agreement, which goes into effect on October 31, 2018, KLM will be able to place its code on Qantas flights between Singapore and four Australian cities, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. Qantas will be able to attach its flight numbers to KLM flights linking Amsterdam with Singapore.

“Australia is an important destination for business and leisure travellers, which is why Qantas is such an important partner,” said Peter Elbers, KLM’s CEO.

Passengers on both airlines will be able to earn miles as well as status miles and points when taking the codeshare flights.
