Hainan Airlines announced on Saturday the start of service between Shenzhen, China and Vienna Austria.

The airline is using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on the new route, which operates twice weekly.

Citing a “growing cooperation” between China and Austria, the airline said that the new flight will “help promote economic cooperation and cultural exchanges” between the two countries.

Hainan currently serves 15 destinations from Shenzen Bao’an International Airport including Brussels, Madrid, and Zurich.
