Austrian Airlines to Launch Vienna-Montreal Service in 2019
Austrian Airlines announced plans to add non-stop service from Vienna to Montreal in 2019.
The new service will replace the airline’s current Vienna-Toronto flights, which will be taken over by the airline’s Star Alliance partner, Air Canada.
Austrian will operate the service, which launches on April 29, 2019, with Boeing 767 aircraft. The flights will be daily through the summer and then five times per week afterwards.
The airline’s Boeing 767-300ER aircraft have 26 seats in business in a 1-2-1 configuration. Each seat is 21” wide and extends into a fully lie-flat bed. The aircraft also has 18 recliner seats in its premium-economy cabin. Each seat is 19” wide and has between 33” to 35” of seat pitch. There are 167 seats in coach.
