American Express Makes It Easier to Use Discounted International Airline Program

IMG_2478American Express announced that it has added online chat to its International Airline Program.

“The International Airline Program gives you exclusive access to premium class tickets for you and a travel companion,” the company said in a statement.

The program offers American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders discounts on business- and first-class tickets for one to eight travelers on 25 airlines.

The chat service is available only between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m. ET.

The list of airlines for which discounted tickets are available includes Aeromexico, Air France, Air New Zealand, Austrian, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Delta, Etihad, Japan Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic.

Purchases are eligible for five times points on the Platinum card and cardholders can use Membership Rewards points to make a purchase.
