The Montreal-based carrier already offers non-stop service linking Toronto and Raleigh and it plans to use larger aircraft on that flight as well as on its service between Toronto and Charlotte.

The larger aircraft, Embraer E175s, will have a business-class cabin.

“The new Montreal-Raleigh service will be the only non-stop flight between these cities,” the airline said in a statement.

Montreal-Raleigh flights will commence on June 3, 2019. The airline will operate these flights using a 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet.

The upgauged service between Toronto and both Raleigh and Charlotte will start on May 1, 2019.
