To combat lagging enrollment, the Transportation Security Administration is opening up PreCheck enrollment centers at Staples office supply stores around the country.

In partnership with IdentoGo, which is managing the enrollment process, Staples and the TSA have opened over 30 Staples locations across the country including ones in California, New York, Maryland, and Virginia.

IdentoGo will open over 20 more locations inside Staples store by the end of the year, it said.

Appointments may be made online and travelers may complete the application in advance of the appointment.

Passengers at a PreCheck security checkpoint do not have to remove shoes, belts, and light jackets during the screening, and can leave laptops and liquids in their carry-on luggage.

PreCheck is available at over 180 airports in the United States as well as at some foreign airports with preclearance centers.
