JetBlue Airways announced it will launch new twice-weekly service between Boston and Palm Springs, California, next February.

The New York-based carrier said it will also expand the duration of its seasonal flights from New York to Palm Springs to include Memorial Day Weekend in 2019. Service to Palm Springs is set to begin on October 10, 2018.

The airline will operate the Boston-Palm Springs route on Mondays and Thursdays from February 14, 2019 through April 30.

Between December 20, 2018 and January 3, 2019, JetBlue will operate the New York-Palm Springs service with Airbus A321 aircraft that offer a Mint business-class cabin.  It will operate A321 aircraft with Mint cabins on Saturdays from January 12, 2019 through February 9.

Mint offers passengers a premium cabin with fully lie-flat seats on JetBlue’s Airbus A321s.  Four seats in the cabin are private suites with doors.  The seats in the private suites are 22” wide and extend into 80”-long beds.  The remaining 12 seats in the cabin are in a 2-2 configuration and are 20.5” wide.
