Japan Airlines to Launch Tokyo-Seattle Service in March

Japan Airlines announced plans to operate new non-stop service from Tokyo Narita Airport to Seattle.

The airline plans to inaugurate service on March 31, 2019 and will operate the flight using Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Flights will depart Narita at 6 p.m. arriving the same day at 11 a.m. Return flights will depart Seattle at 2:20 p.m. and arrive at 4:30 p.m. the following day.

JAL’s 787-8 aircraft have 38 fully lie-flat seats in business class, 35 premium economy seats, and 88 seats in coach. The seats in the business-class cabin are 25” wide and extend into a 74” bed. Recliner seats in premium economy are 19.2” in width with 42” of pitch.
