DSC_0588In-flight Internet company Gogo announced that three airlines – American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Gol Linhas Aéreas – have gone live with the company’s Gogo TV live television offering.

Gogo TV delivers live TV programs to passengers’ personal electronic devices such as tablets or smartphones and is also integrated into the seatback entertainment system.

American Airlines was Gogo’s first customer for in-flight Internet service when it went live in 2007.

Gogo told Frequent Business Traveler that a fourth airline, Japan Airlines, as well as its subsidiary, Japan Transocean Air, will go live with Gogo TV in October.

The Gogo TV system uses Gogo’s 2Ku high-speed satellite to deliver the service.
