American Airlines will offer nature videos and a meditation app to passengers in order to help lower the stress and anxiety caused by travel.

Starting October 8, American will offer the Calm meditation and sleep app via its in-flight entertainment services including Wi-Fi streaming. Passengers will be able to view calming nature videos and Sleep Stories as well as travel meditations and breathing exercises on the Calm channel.

Calm recently added German language content, with sleep stories narrated by actor Sebastian Koch. The company plans to add additional languages in the coming year.

The Calm app is available for all Apple iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads as well as for Android devices.
