United Airlines Names Jake Cefolia to Worldwide Sales Leadership Position

DSC_0295United Airlines announced the appointment of Jake Cefolia to the position of senior vice president of worldwide sales.

Cefolia most recently served as vice president of sales for the Americas. He has been with the airline since 2007 and, prior to joining United, he was at Northwest Airlines and British Airways.

In the new position, Cefolia, who is succeeding Dave Hilfman, who retired, will report to Scott Kirby, the airline’s president.

“In Jake, we have a leader with a proven ability to develop meaningful relationships with corporate and travel agency customers around the globe,” said Kirby in a statement.

Cefolia will manage a team of 725 sales people who are charged with maintaining the airline’s sales programs and relationships across the globe.
