Southwest Announces a Slew of Executive Appointments

DSC_0208Southwest Airlines announced multiple executive appointments and promotions on Wednesday.

Mark Shaw, currently senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary was promoted to executive vice president, chief legal and regulatory officer, and corporate secretary. Jason Van Eaton, the airline’s vice president for governmental affairs, was promoted to senior vice president for governmental affairs and real estate.

Bob Montgomery, currently vice president for airport affairs, was appointed to the position of senior advisor, a new role. Paul Cullen, the airline’s financial planning and analysis vice president, was appointed to the position of vice president for real estate. Steve Sisneros, currently senior director for airport affairs, will now serve as managing director for airport affairs.

The leader of the airline’s frequent flyer program and senior director for loyalty, partnerships, and products, Jonathan Clarkson, was appointed to the position of managing director, marketing. Reid Grandle, vice president for corporate strategy, will assume the position of vice president for strategy and planning. Dave Harvey, now managing director for corporate sales, has been promoted to the position of vice president for corporate sales.

Finally, Adam Decaire, managing director for network planning, was appointed to the position of vice president for network planning.
