Sixt Opens Rental Car Office in San Francisco’s Union Square

Sixt Rent-a-Car announced the opening of its new location in San Francisco’s Union Square. The opening is the company’s seventh in 2018.

The Bay Area “is a gathering place of some of today’s brightest thinkers, and with frequent travel to and from the city, expanding our presence is a great way for us to continue to meet rising demand,” said Daniel Florence, the company’s COO.

In the past few years, the company, which operates over 50 U.S. locations, has opened locations at Miami International, Seattle-Tacoma International, San Diego International, Tampa International airports, and in Battery Park in New York City.

Worldwide, Sixt operates over 2,000 locations in over 100 countries. The company is headquartered in Pullach in Bavaria and began operations in the United States in 2011.
