Hyatt Hotels announced the opening of two Hyatt Regency properties. The two are located in Shanghai, China, and Okinawa, Japan.

The Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa is on a private island linked by bridge to the main island of Okinawa. The property offers 344 guest rooms and is located on the waterfront. It relies on Okinawan culture and tradition for the design of its public spaces and guest rooms. There are six dining establishments including Shirakachi, which offers a variety of Japanese cuisines, while the Beach Bar and Pool Bar offer cocktails and snacks.

The Hyatt Regency Shanghai Jiading is in the city’s Jiading District in northwest Shanghai. It offers 304 guest rooms with contemporary décor and panoramic city or lake views. Dining options were designed by the Japanese interior design firm Super Potato and include Xiang Yue, which offers Chinese cuisine on the 43rd floor, and The Lounge on the 42nd floor, serving high tea and other light dishes.

The Shanghai property has 37,673 square feet (3,500 square meters) of meeting and event space including the 11,840-square-foot (1,100-square-meter) Regency Ballroom
