Delta to Increase Frequency of Amsterdam, Paris, Tel Aviv Flights in 2019

DSC_0498Delta Air Lines announced plans for new routes and increased frequencies to Europe come next summer.

The Atlanta-based carrier will increase the number of flights linking Los Angeles International Airport with both Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle to daily effective June 19, 2019.  It is also introducing year-round service from Tampa International Airport to Amsterdam on May 23.

Delta already flies to Amsterdam from ten other airports including New York’s John F. Kennedy and Florida’s OrlandoInternational Airport.

The airline will operate the Los Angeles-Paris flights using a newly upgraded Boeing 777s with Delta One suites. Each Delta One suite has a full-height door and there are sliding privacy dividers separating center suites. Each suite also has individually customizable ambient lighting, storage compartments for a laptop, headphones, and shoes, a memory foam comfort cushion, and an 18” in-flight entertainment monitor.

Delta will double the frequency of its flights to Paris and Tel Aviv from New York.  The new Tel Aviv service will be have a daytime departure to complement the current flight, which leaves in the evening.
