American Airlines to Offer Non-Stop Las Vegas-Tokyo Flights During CES

American Airlines in conjunction with its joint-venture partner Japan Airlines announced plans to offer non-stop service between Las Vegas and Tokyo for the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show.

The flights will operate starting January 4, 2019 and continue through January 14.

“We are thrilled to make getting to the world’s largest technology event faster and easier than ever before,” said Shane Hodges, the airline’s managing director for Asia Pacific sales.

American will operate the flights using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.  The planes are equipped with 28 fully lie-flat seats in the business-class cabin arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration.  Each seat is 21” in width and extends into a 77” bed. The Dreamliner also has 21 seats in the premium economy section in a 2-3-2 configuration.  Each seat is 19” wide and has a seat pitch of 38”.
