American Airlines to Add New Routes to Athens, Berlin, Bologna, Dubrovnik, and Edinburgh

American Airlines announced on Tuesday plans for new routes to Athens, Berlin, Bologna, Dubrovnik, Edinburgh, and London.

The Fort Worth-based airline is introducing non-stop seasonal service from Charlotte and Dallas/Fort Worth to Munich as well as Dallas/Fort Worth to Dubrovnik and Chicago to Athens.

It is also introducing five new seasonal international routes from Philadelphia, adding Berlin, Bologna, Dubrovnik, and Edinburgh as destinations from the City of Brother Love. The airline will add non-stop seasonal service from Phoenix to London Heathrow on March 31, 2019.

Finally, American also said it will suspend service from Chicago to Shanghai at the end of October and reduce the frequency of its Chicago-Tokyo Narita service to thrice weekly, starting December 18.
