Alaska Airlines to Add Non-Stop Between Seattle and Columbus

IMG_8937 (2)Alaska Airlines announced plans for daily non-stop service between Seattle, Washington, and Columbus, Ohio.

The new route is the first non-stop flight linking the Pacific Northwest and Central Ohio according to the airline, and will go into service on March 7, 2019.

“This new service to Columbus represents Alaska’s first destination in the Buckeye State, and our commitment to offer the most nonstop destinations from our hometown of Seattle,” said John Kirby, the airline’s vice president of capacity planning.

Alaska will operate the route with Airbus A320 aircraft.  The A320s have eight seats in first class in a 2-2 configuration, each 21.5” wide with a seat pitch of 55”.  The premium-economy lite section has 12 standard coach seats, each with a width of 17.7” and a seat pitch of 38”.  In addition, there are 126 standard seats in coach.
