Capacity was 5.97 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, a year-over-year increase of 6.8% from 5.59 billion ASMs.

System-wide load factor for the month was 87.7% a .7 percentage point increase from 87% in July 2017.

The figures include flights operated by Alaska Airlines including legacy Virgin America routes, as well as those operated by Horizon Air and under third-party capacity purchase agreements.

In addition, on April 25 of this year, Alaska Airlines merged all Virgin America customer-facing operations such as selecting flights and checking in, with its own. Customers now use Alaska’s website, mobile app, and airport kiosks exclusively when traveling.
