Ride-hailing service Uber announced several new features for its app to make it easier for drivers to locate their passengers.

Uber is adding real-time location sharing to help the driver pinpoint the passenger’s location. In addition, for nighttime pickups, a feature called Spotlight makes it easier for a driver to find a passenger in the dark by illuminating the passenger’s smartphone with a specific color and notifying the driver of the color.

The company is also adding a service guarantee for trips scheduled 30 minutes or more in advance. If the driver does not show up in the specific ten-minute window, the passenger will receive a credit.

Finally, Uber is adding a feature called Pickup Messages to facilitate communication between driver and passenger. It includes preformatted messages such as “Be right there” in a text-like interface.
