T-Mobile USA announced Tuesday that it would offer a new international daily data roaming pass starting August 1.

The new offering provides 512 Mbytes of high-speed data and unlimited voice calls for a 24-hour period in over 210 countries including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

The cost is $5 a day, half the rate that competitors AT&T Wireless and Verizon wireless charge.

Last week, the mobile operator announced it would raise the price per minute of calls from and within most countries outside the United States to 25 cents per minute, up five cents from 20, and would also add 55 countries to the list of countries where customers get free 2G data roaming.
