Kimpton to Open First Property in Germany

InterContinental Hotels Group announced plans to open a Kimpton hotel in Germany.
The Kimpton Frankfurt will open in 2023 in the Junghofstraße in the city center as part of Four Frankfurt, a mixed-use development that will include office space, residential space, and retail shops.
“Frankfurt is a key location for us,” said Kenneth Macpherson, CEO of IHG’s EMEA region.
The new property will offer 155 rooms, a restaurant, a sky-bar and restaurant on the rooftop terrace, and two meeting rooms. The existing 1950s lobby will become the hotel’s main entrance.
Acquired by IHG in 2015, Kimpton currently has 66 hotels in the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe.
