American Airlines Brings Back LaGuardia-Vail Non-Stop
American Airlines announced it will once again service between New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Vail, Colorado in late December.
The seasonal service to Eagle County Airport will commence on December 22, 2018. American will operate the route using Airbus A319 aircraft.
The airline’s A319s have eight recliner seats in the first-class cabin. Each seat is 21” wide and offers a seat pitch of roughly 40”. The airline’s Main Cabin Extra premium economy lite section has 24 seats roughly 16” in width and a seat pitch of 34”. Coach provides 96 seats.
In previous years, American has offered non-stop seasonal service to Vail from both LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International airports in New York City. It recently converted its service from Dallas/Fort Worth to Vail into year-round service.
