W Hotels, a part of Marriott International, announced plans to release multiple travel guides designed for LGBTQ travelers.

The first guide, for Mexico City, made its debut Thursday and is designed to familiarize travelers with cultural institutions, nightlife, and dining, as well as recommendations for getting around town.  It provides information on local queer-friendly neighborhoods such as Zona Rosa and Tabacalera in the city as well.

Other guides that are planned include ones for Atlanta; Brisbane, Australia; and Istanbul.

“This platform is designed to connect and inspire the LGBTQ+ community in every W destination, including some not always associated with LGBTQ+ travel,” said Anthony Ingham, the hotelier’s global brand leader.

The guides also include simple expressions, in the case of the Mexico City guide in Spanish, such as “¿Qué onda?”, which translates to “How’s it going?” or “What’s up?”. W Insiders, as they are called, provide a more personal look at the city covered by the guide as well.
