DSC_0088Mercedes-Benz announced the launch of a new-vehicle subscription service, Mercedes-Benz Collection.

The new offering will have three tiers and each will allow drivers to switch between different types of vehicles during the subscription period. Two tiers will be offered in each city and prices will range from $1,095 go $2,995 per month in addition to a one-time activation fee. The three tiers are Signature, Reserve, and Premier. All three tiers will have access to Mercedes-AMG models.

“We know there is a market opportunity for people who would like the ability to move in and out of vehicles, depending on what they need or want at a particular point in time, or who don’t want to own a vehicle right now,” said Dietmar Exler, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA.

The service will be piloted in Nashville, Tennessee and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Once a subscriber is enrolled, he will select a different vehicle via the app. The new vehicle will be delivered the following day with a full tank of fuel and the driver will take back the previous vehicle.
