Marriott International’s Westin Hotels & Resorts unit announced the reflagging of the former Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii to the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort.

The hotel recently underwent an extensive renovation of guestrooms, public areas such as lobbies, and restaurants as part of the conversion.

Dining venues will include Meridia, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant with al fresco dining; Naupaka Beach Grill, which is poolside and offers salads, sandwiches, and pupus; ‘Ikena Landing, an open-air restaurant for breakfast; and the Pilo Coffee + Bar which offers Kona coffee and adult beverages.

The property is on the Kohala Coast and overlooks Hapuna Beach. Guests will have access to a CrossFit box as well as the signature Westin Workout studio. The adults-only infinity pool features private cabanas, chaise lounges, and pool ledge loungers.

The island of Hawaii is the largest in the United States and the third largest in Polynesia.
