Delta Air Lines announced plans to operate non-stop service from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Seoul starting in 2019.

The new route will be operated in conjunction with joint-venture partner Korean Air. Travelers will be able to access dozens of cities in Southeast Asia via connecting flights operated by Korean Air.

The new flight “will be a great driver of international commerce” for the Twin Cities as well as the state of Minnesota, the airline said.

Delta will operate the flight using Boeing 777-200 aircraft with all-new interiors. The aircraft will have 28 Delta One suites with a full-height door, an 18” infotainment system display, and memory foam seat cushions. It will also have 48 Delta Premium Select premium-economy recliner seats with a seat-pitch of 38” and 220 seats in coach.

All seats will have access to USB power ports and 110-volt outlets as well as in-flight Wi-Fi.
