United Airlines CFO Resigns Suddenly

DSC_0825 (1)United Airlines announced that its chief financial officer, Andrew Levy, resigned late Thursday.

The Chicago-based carrier immediately named its current senior vice president of finance and treasurer, Gerry Laderman, as acting CFO.

“Gerry’s deep experience and financial acumen mean that he is ideally suited to lead our finance organization during this transitional period,” said United CEO Oscar Munoz who also thanked Levy for his service.

“I personally want to thank Andrew for his contributions to United. He leaves the company in a stronger financial position and with a clear strategy and framework in place,” he said.
