New ANA Lounge with Direct Boarding Access to Open in Honolulu
All Nippon Airways announced that it will open a new lounge at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu next spring that will also serve as the boarding gate.
The lounge will be located on the third floor of the airport’s Terminal 2, above gate C4. ANA said that the lounge will reflect a fusion of traditional Hawaiian and Japanese design, using Hawaiian wood and featuring a Japanese traditional coffered ceiling.
The space will have a dedicated family area, which will provide toys for families traveling with children.
The lounge will be designed with the carrier’s Airbus A380 aircraft, which the airline will soon launch on its Tokyo-Honolulu route, in mind. Passengers seated in first class, business class, and premium economy on the upper deck (the lower deck is all coach) will be able to board the aircraft directly from the lounge.
