JetBlue Reports Increase in April Traffic

IMG_8285JetBlue Airways announced operational results for April 2018. The carrier said that its total traffic, capacity, and load factor were all up for the month.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic was 4.3 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 5.7% from 4.07 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

JetBlue’s capacity also increased by 5.3% to 5.02 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 4.77 billion ASMs in April 2017.

Meanwhile, the carrier’s passenger load factor for the month was 85.7%, up 0.4 percentage points from 85.3 last April.
