JetBlue Launches First Route to Minneapolis

IMGP5613 (1)JetBlue Airways announced Friday the launch of new service between Boston and Minneapolis. The route is the carrier’s first to the Twin Cities, as well as to the state of Minnesota.

The airline is set to operate the service thrice daily, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights are scheduled to depart Boston’s Logan International Airport at 6:35 a.m., 1:02 p.m., and 7:35 p.m., arriving in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at 8:39 a.m., 3:20 p.m., and 9:55 p.m., respectively. Flights from Minneapolis to Boston will depart at 6 a.m., 9:25 a.m., and 4:25 p.m., and arrive at 9:49 a.m., 1:16 p.m., and 8:21 p.m.

JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft are equipped with 42 seats in Even More Space, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach. Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, the same as in coach, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

Minneapolis is JetBlue’s 102nd destination, and the carrier’s 65th destination from Boston.
