JetBlue Airways announced operational results for March 2018. The carrier said that its total traffic, capacity, and load factor were all up for the month.

The New York-based airline’s passenger traffic was 4.38 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 7.3% from 4.08 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

JetBlue’s capacity also increased by 3.3% to 4.92 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 4.76 billion ASMs in March 2017.

Meanwhile, the carrier’s passenger load factor for the month was 89%, up 3.3 percentage points from 85.7 last March.

The airline said its preliminary completion factor was 93.6% and its on-time performance was 64.2% for the period. It also said that it expects first quarter RASM or revenue per available seat mile to grow by 6.1% compared to the first quarter of 2017, an increase over the 3.5% to 5.5% that was previously expected.
