IMG_8285JetBlue Airways announced a codeshare agreement with JetSuiteX, a semi-private public charter operator.

The two companies are embarking upon a partnership that will allow JetBlue to place its code on JetSuiteX Air-operated flights between various West Coast destinations and goes into effect May 1, 2018.

The partnership “marks the first codeshare between a semi-private public charter operator and a major national carrier,” JetBlue said in a statement.

Cities covered by the partnership will include Burbank and Oakland in California, as well as Las Vegas, Nevada.

JetSuiteX flights depart from private terminals and passengers can arrive as close as 15 minutes prior to departure. Passengers may bring two checked bags at no charge and cocktails and snacks are included.

Founded in 2006, JetSuiteX is an FAA Part 135 on-demand charter operator that is owned in part by JetSuite and Qatar Airways. JetBlue passengers can already earn TrueBlue frequent flyer points by flying on JetSuiteX.
