Hawaiian Sees Record Passenger Traffic in March

DSC_0313 (1)Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for March 2018.

The airline reported that it carried over 1.02 passengers in March, a record for the month and an 8% increase over the same period in 2017.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.47 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 8.6% from 1.32 billion RPMs in March 2017. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 6.7% to 1.66 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.55 billion ASMs last March.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 86.5%, a 1.5 percentage point increase from 85% the previous March.
