Eurowings announced on Saturday the start of its new non-stop service linking New York and Düsseldorf.

The new flight will operate six days a week except Tuesday, departing New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 10:30 p.m. and arriving the following day at Düsseldorf Airport at 11:55 a.m. Departures on Saturdays will be at 6:55 p.m. with an 8:20 a.m. arrival. Return flights depart Düsseldorf at 11:05 a.m. and arrive at JFK at 1:25 p.m. the same day, except for Saturdays, when the departure and arrival times are 2:35 p.m. and 4:55 p.m. respectively.

“New York is definitely a must for our ever-growing network, especially as we develop our fleet in Düsseldorf and expand our leading position in the region,” said Oliver Wagner, the airline’s chief commercial officer.

Eurowings will operate the service using Airbus A340-300 aircraft with a three-class configuration.  The planes have 18 fully lie-flat BIZclass seats in the business-class cabin, 21 Best premium-economy seats, and 261 seats in coach.  The business-class service includes a variety of food offerings including poke bowls and craft beer.
