DSC_1940Swiss International Air Lines announced changes, on a trial basis, to its coach service on virtually all flights out of Geneva. The changes will not affect flights to New York or Zürich, however.

The airline plans to introduce a variety of items it will make available for sale during the flights.

Passengers in the coach cabin will continue to receive complimentary water, a snack, and a chocolate, but alcoholic beverages will no longer be complimentary.

Travelers booked on the airline’s Economy Light fares will only receive water and a chocolate.

Economy Light fares are intended for individuals seeking the lowest possible price and who plan to travel with only hand baggage. They are not cancellable or changeable.
