Lufthansa announced it would offer new dining options to passengers in coach and premium economy on certain flights.

Seven new A la carte dining meals will be available to passengers on long-haul flights beginning in May. Unlike some airlines’ buy-on-board options, the meals can be booked up to 24 hours before departure.

Dishes include grilled steak, a Bento Box with a selection of sushi, and hearty Bavarian snacks, as well as an Asian menu with quinoa, or Mediterranean pasta with a choice of shrimp or Thai curry.

All meals will be served on porcelain plates, and will cost between €19 and €33.
