Lufthansa to Begin Flights to San Diego, San Jose

IMG_5643Lufthansa announced that it will begin new service to both San Diego and San Jose, California from Frankfurt. The carrier will launch flights to San Diego on March 22, with service to San Jose scheduled to begin on March 25.

Flights from Frankfurt Airport to San Diego International Airport will depart at 10 a.m. and arrive at 1:20 p.m. Flights will then depart San Diego at 3:05 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt at 11:20 a.m. the next day. Lufthansa will operate the route every day except for Wednesdays and Fridays.

The carrier’s flights to Mineta San Jose International Airport will depart Frankfurt at 10:40 a.m. and arrive at 1:20 p.m. Flights from San Jose to Frankfurt are scheduled to depart at 3:05 p.m. and arrive at 11:10 a.m. the next morning. The airline will offer the service every day except for Thursdays and Saturdays.

San Diego and San Jose will be Lufthansa’s third and fourth destinations in California, after San Francisco and Los Angeles.
