Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for February 2018.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based airline during the month of February was 1.23 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 7.4% from 1.14 billion RPMs in February 2016. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 4.9% to 1.45 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.38 billion ASMs last February.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 84.8%, a 1.9 percentage point increase from 82.9% the previous February.

The airline also reported that it carried 900,909 passengers in February, an 8.6% increase over the 828,582 passengers it carried in the same period in 2017.

The carrier separately announced on Tuesday that it had signed a contract to purchase ten Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and had cancelled a 2014 contract with Airbus to acquire six Airbus A330-800 jets.
