Hainan Airlines Links Shenzhen with Brussels, Madrid

IMGP4629Hainan Airlines announced the launch of new service from Shenzhen to both Brussels and Madrid. The route to Brussels as the carrier’s third to the Belgian capital, while the service to Madrid is the airline’s first between China and Spain.

Flights from Shenzhen to Brussels are scheduled to depart at 9:25 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and arrive at 4 p.m. From Brussels, flights will depart at 8:20 p.m. and arrive back in Shenzhen at 1:50 p.m. the next day.

The airline’s winter and spring schedule for its Shenzhen-Madrid service will see flights depart Shenzhen at 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and arrive in Madrid at 9:50 p.m. Return flights will depart at midnight on Mondays and Fridays and arrive at 7:55 p.m.

Times will change for the service’s summer and autumn schedule, with flights departing Shenzhen 30 minutes later and Madrid 50 minutes later.

Hainan will operate both flights using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 36 lie-flat seats in business class and 177 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 22.5” wide and have a pitch of 74”.
