Delta Air Lines announced the release of it joint summer schedule with Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Delta will resume its non-stop flights from Portland and Salt Lake City to London Heathrow on April 1 and May 3, respectively.

Virgin Atlantic will add a sixth daily flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and London Heathrow, while Delta will switch to Airbus A330 aircraft, for their larger capacity, on that route as well as on its flights to London from Atlanta and Detroit.

Delta will also resume its daily seasonal non-stop flights to Glasgow and Edinburgh, Scotland, from New York this summer.

In addition, Virgin Atlantic said it plans to offer flights from Manchester to Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Boston, as well as to increase capacity on its Manchester-New York route by switching to Boeing 747 aircraft.
