Marriott announced a new partnership between its Delta Hotels brand and Soapbox, a supplier of soap that donates one bar of soap to someone in need each time a customer makes a purchase.

The new partnership will see the bath products company implement a buy-one-donate-one model at Delta Hotels properties.

Soapbox will provide amenity kits in guestrooms of all 50 Delta Hotels throughout the world. The kits will include naturally-derived shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, liquid hand soap, and bar soap, and are scheduled to roll out this month.

Each amenity kit will also include what the company is calling a “Hope Code,” which will allow guests to see on Soapbox’s website where their particular contribution will be designated.

“Not only are we giving guests a great bath experience with quality products they will love, but we are also making a change in children’s lives around the world,” said Gregory Durrer, global brand leader of Delta Hotels by Marriott. “It is a win-win.”

Marriott said that the partnership will provide an estimated 1.4 million bars of soap to communities in need around the world this year.
