Republic Pilots Ratify Contract Extension

DSC_0659Republic Airlines and its pilots union announced the ratification of an extension to their 2015 collective bargaining agreement.

The extension, which was ratified by a majority of the 2,000 pilots represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 357, will be in effect until January 1, 2021.

“This extension is an investment in our people and our future,” said Matt Koscal, the airline’s chief administrative officer.

The airline, based in Indianapolis, has a fleet of over 190 Embraer 170/175 aircraft and operates flights for several airlines including American, Delta, and United under the American Eagle, Delta Connection, and United Express brands.
