Hyatt Hotels and Resorts announced plans to open a new Park Hyatt property in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2021. The property will occupy the top 17 floors of a 118-story building, the Merdeka PNB 118 tower, which, when completed in 2020, will be the tallest skyscraper in Southeast Asia and the third tallest in the world.

The hotel will have 232 guestrooms, including 28 suites and 30 residential apartments. Over 20,000 square feet (1,858 square meters) of meeting and event space will be located within the premises.

Guests will be able to choose from three restaurants and bars, including a signature restaurant and a skyline-level venue. The property will also have a spa with six treatment rooms, a fitness center, and a pool with city views.

The hotel will be the first Park Hyatt located in Kuala Lumpur.
